Filsell Shiraz
Wine
Grant Burge Filsell Shiraz is made from the Filsell Vineyard planted in 1920. The wine is affectionately known as the younger brother of the flagship Meshach Shiraz, also from the Filsell site.
Batches are selected, crushed and fermented separately on skins over eight days. After pressing, both the free run juice and pressings are transferred to French and American oak to age for 20 months.
Deep purple red, Grant Burge Filsell Shiraz is rich and full bodied with intense red berry flavours, oak flecked spices and persistent tannins. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
